coffee whore finds hope
On my way to work, nice vibe, good art on walls.
I am tasting their takeaway as I type. And this local coffee guide gives me even more hope.

And one of the things that makes me stop and wonder like a four-year old nearly EVERY DAY is that just as we are heading off to bed, you Kiwis are already hitting tomorrow morning's coffee. In our 17th century prayers tonight (they also give me the 4-yr-old feeling sometimes) we said a prayer that basically implied the idea that when WE go to bed, the world does too. One of the neat things about technology such as this is that you're so much more aware of the wide awakeness of the world. Enough. Goodnight! zzzz

They have a lush field filled with huge old trees, always sun soaked, that looked over the church I planted and used to pastor (Graceway - www.graceway.org.nz).
I used to go and sit there. Every moment I was there, the Creator kept Sustaining - the grass, the sun, the trees, the people in the church and community. I could re-create, while God kept working.
Perhaps the www is the technological equivalent - while we sleep it keeps linking. Yet another way in which the www is a contemporary spirituality.
