how far should I go?
OK, so I am back in the west coast of USA April 27-29. And so is U2. So, is it worth me arriving early, and flying up to Seattle (April 24-25), to say "Hi"?
Or do I wait, and hope they come to Melbourne, Austalia (still a 3.5 hour flight from Christchurch, New Zealand).
Update: I booked. I am not chasing U2. I fly into LA on Sunday 24th April and leave Friday 29th April.

Posted by: phil at February 27, 2005 06:52 PMAbsolutely! I'd come down for a visit. It's only a 2 1/2 hour drive.
(p.s. I'm having trouble posting my comment using my yahoo address. correct address is .com, not .ca

The Journey makes the Destination.

Posted by: Larraine at February 27, 2005 11:12 PMI think ticket reality might be your decider. I don't think there is (or has been for a very long time) any tickets available for the Seattle show. vancouver was sold out in 8 minutes, second show sold out in 4 more minutes. When Seattle was added (same day), I think it sold out lickety split. Check on ticketmaster.com.

And thanks so much for your work. I got it and am reading it like info. maniac. Given me the inspiration to push through this leg of my journey.
I would agree with Aaron. I live in the Seattle area and the tickets sold out in 1/2 of an hour. U2 added a second show and the same thing happened.
Posted by: Darren at March 9, 2005 07:25 AMThere are stacks of tickets on the internet - I suspect that the tickets "sold out" to promoters.
