I had heard about this, thanks to Marcus Lush on the radio.

Just went and did one, first try correct. I strangely find it quite easy, thanks to my computer science days (it’s very much like error checking, for those geeks who understand).

I don’t know whether to respect Sudoku or not, since it isn’t the hardest puzzle to CREATE. I can make a sudoku puzzle in 1 minute that takes me ten times longer to complete. Not like those rediculously difficult cryptic crosswords; that person must be a total genuis, whoever creates them!

But, now that I’ve given sudoku a go, maybe I’ll try it some more ;)

Am way into them also. I set myself up a little template on the computer so I could easily make notes about the possible number combinations and delete them without the whole thing looking a mess.

But strangely, every time I use the computer template I make mistakes, but if I use the good old pen and paper, I have a much better average.

Gath, that’s a dreadfully addictive online version. I especially like the way you can put the possibilities in.

Other versions I’ve liked are
* http://www.websudoku.com/
* http://www.timesonline.co.uk/section/0,,23509,00.html but you can only have 3 possibilities and for harder puzzles you need more than that!
