Not normally moved to compose liturgy but here goes.

Deus ex (washing) machina
————————-

God of creation, washing machines, lost socks and colours that run
Grant us this day crisp whiteness.

Let your Spirit move upon us.
Agitating our souls with alternating motions.

Let your living water - hot and cold,
Flood the laundry of our lives.

Lord, let us be caught up in your spin cycle,
    Spin, Lord, spin!

Let us not curse our puddles,
Rather see them as opportunites for grace.

And hang us out to dry, O God,
Letting your Spirit blow through us.

Amen.

Similar thing happened with us and our deep freeze before the days of Trade Me.
