… more wellington highlights

The Wild Design at Te Papa was very cool.

Looking at the ways in which art and arcitecture mirrors nature,
it raised an interesting chicken-egg question for me.

Clearly some of the art mirrors nature
because the artist was inspired by nature.

But there was also evidence of art/arcitecture
mirroring then “unknown” nature.

Like the Firth of Forth bridge
and it’s structural similarity to the DNA helix…

If we are made in the image of God,
it is not inconceivable that we will create as God did…
coming up with the same sorts of designs
that God invented so long ago,
instinctively replicating blueprints from creation.
