Just in case you do not know of him……Paul Trebilco, PhD (1987) in New Testament, University of Durham, is Head of Department at Otago and a Professor, teaching in the area of New Testament studies. He teaches an introductory course on the New Testament, and advanced courses on the Gospels, the Epistles, New Testament Christology, the Johannine Literature, and the Pastoral Epistles. He has published work on the Jewish and Greco-Roman backgrounds to the New Testament, as well as on the Acts of the Apostles, the apostle Paul, early Christians in Ephesus, and the relationship of Scripture and Church tradition.
