  2. Just an fyi, in light of the past postcards discussion. I never even knew “emerging” extended to the US until I had read and studied for close to a year. In fact, I figured we were VERY LATE in picking this whole thing up. so, whatever your feelings regarding americans and our views of emerging/ent, know that some of us know the truth 😉

  3. thanks Makeesha. appreciate the comment and the perspective.

So tell us, what was your introduction and what were you reading for a year before you stumbled across an american accent?

  4. you, andrew jones, michael frost, communities like ikon. In fact, I think reading your stuff really shaped our community in a lot of ways. It was through you all that I discovered McLaren and I hadn’t even heard of Bell until a few months ago.

  5. Makeesha, would love to have a postcard from your community. i think you are quite unique in the US cos you are church within a church and that is, I think, quite rare. any chance?
