technical query

Does anyone know if it is possible to place already existing digital images (JPEGs) onto a cell phone, in order to PXT that digital image?

(I know I can take a digital picture of the existing image with a phone, but that would lose quality. I know you can select and send PXt’s from the Vodafone gallery. But I already have the image (40 actually, one for each day of Lent 🙂 that I want to send out)

  1. Depends on the phone – if you can hook it up to your pc I imagine there shoudl be a file transfer program to add and take images from the phone to the PC.

  2. When the previous commentor mentioned connecting your camera to a PC, it made me think of USB cables and such — but one can also connect to a PC/Mac via BlueTooth if the phone is capable. If the phone is, but the computer is not, one can purchase a relatively inexpensive USB Bluetooth dongle and voila! I have done this to get pictures from my phone to my Mac, but it can be done the other way round as well — you may want to reduce the quality of the jpegs to save on file size, and unless someone has an iPhine or a phone with similar resolution, the lessened quality should not be a problem on anyone’s phone.

    Cheers,
