Hmm, so the choice is ‘get a personal trainer’ or pray that Jesus comes back before you’re 30, 40, or 50yo’?

Or follow the “third way” – go happily flabby…. After all we seem designed to decay. Aging is the one thing we all do. Why fight, submit gracefully…

I just turned 40 and so I have been acutely aware of this very subject lately. But I am inclined to agree with Tim to a degree. I could have the physical training regimen of Lance Armstrong (which I do not) and it would not stop me from the ravages of aging. As an American, I can tell you that national culture is OBSESSED with youth and ways to stay young. Ofcourse, I will try to take care of this body…but no matter what it’s going to age.
Do I like it? Nope. But I am beginning to be at peace with it.
