: organising guest speaker for next weeks leadership class

It is funky tho – the other day we had a dinner party with an Elizabethan theme and Kelli was looking up authentic recipes from 400 years ago and half way round the world via the absolute latest technology which just happens to deposit it for you in the comfort of your living room
It’s mind bendingly cool to think about and it affords us the chance to maintain relationships with people who are on the other side of the world.
But at the same time I sometimes worry about how seductive it is? I think of people like J.R.R. Tolkien and how much he hated technology – and I’d hazard a guess he’s a smarter man than me…
…Is it adversely affecting me? Am I not as human as I “should” be?
