A book like
The Holy Spirit: Classic and Contemporary Readings
is well worth investing in. (Make sure you order the paperback edition, because the hardcover price is simply ridiculous). The book gathers readings from across the centuries - 20th century, Syriac, Early Greek, Latin, Orthodox, Mystical, and across a rich range of genre - theology texts, sermons, songs, liturgy, even art works. Each reading is helpfully introduced by editor, Eugene Rogers.

Mate, a task we share. And what a creative idea – ironing and praying. Practices I’ll try and iron together…Thanks.

Now I know why my prayer life is so bad and why sometimes my friends and family don’t feel prayed for enough – I just don’t iron unless attending a wedding!!

a very nice idea indeed. shame i’m a die-hard creased person… but will apply to other people’s washing/dishes/etc. thanks!
