touchstone and emerging

Just had a very pleasant lunch with the New Zealand Methodist denominational magazine, talking emerging church. They are doing a major feature. The conversation ranged over midwives, soteriological entrepreneurs, institutions and motivations.

  1. I am of the opinion that this post requires more words.

  2. Nic, thanks for your opinion.
At play for me is the interface between print media (Touchstone methodist magazine) and the web. I want to note on my blog that I had an interview, while respecting that print will take a few weeks to compile and work up the interview, and that they want some sort of “exclusive” on the printed interview. And so a “minimalist” blog post is my attempt at working the interface of these two mediums.

  3. Touchstone have a dual print/web present too. Some articles seem to be online at: http://www.methodist.org.nz//index.cfm/Touchstone.

Maybe yours will turn up there in a month or two.

  4. Thanks Stephen. Good spotting. Even with a dual web/print focus, there is still the inevitable time delay between the interview (and me blogging the interview happened) and the actual presentation of this interview.
